Amersham’s new restaurant Ramon’s is the buzz of new business

The team at Ramon’s are happy to announce that they will be hosting the Chiltern Chamber Club networking event on the 24th of March, from 7.00-8.30am at 94 Sycamore Rd, Amersham HP6 5EN. The event will be another chance for the local businesses of Amersham to connect, welcome Councillor Mark Vivis as the new mayor and be involved in the launch of the village’s new fine dining restaurant.

Ramon’s will be officially opened by the mayor, who will be in attendance throughout the morning, talking about his role and remit. The Chiltern Chamber Club welcome members and non-members alike and would like to ask those attending to bring along a guest or a colleague. The event will start with a chance for everyone to briefly pitch their commercial plans and then lead into an exchange of new ideas. Local figures in attendance include Vee Bharakada, director of Wilkins Kennedy LP and organiser of the event. Enterprises include Dove Dale design, Green Telecom Ltd and Gatsby and Miller hair salon. All those attending will get to see new set dining menus, the restaurant’s stylish interior and enjoy warm service during their brainstorming.

The Ramon’s team will be handing out free croissants and cakes to local business figures who attend the Breakfast Club. This will be the fourth time the team have hosted the meeting, before their official community launch. The restaurant is fronted by Sri Lankan born celebrity chef Ramon. After working in the restaurant business in Paris for over fifteen years, he has taken residence in Amersham. Heavily influenced by European cooking, such as Spanish and Portuguese dishes, he has a particular love of French cuisine and is delighted to share this with local businesses. A personal touch is key to Ramon’s cooking and the chef takes pride in knowing each of his customers well and using food to bring the community together.

Dino Andre Coppala Jiminerez, restaurant manager at Ramon’s, says: ‘The event is both a great opportunity to help local causes and companies but also a great launch of our restaurant into the community. We really look forward to it.”
